Who runs this party, and how many members are there today?

There's no "high-command": members run this party, not a "leader", and every vote is equal. It began with Paras Gupta (Member #1, Delhi), an ordinary citizen whose work was blocked by broken politics, which is why this party exists (full story: "Who We Are"). We're still at the very beginning. We don't hide how many members there are: every counter is live, see it at /live. Funding is still ₹0, every donor on the public ledger. The whole architecture is built. All we need now is more members, and the next name could be yours.
Are you left or right? Liberal or conservative?

Neither. Our ideology is Participatory Developmental Democracy: a politics of participation, development and accountability. We don't fit any label. We are for progress, local power and the Constitution, and not against anyone.
What do you mean by 'development'? Is it just a speech?

No. Development means measurable improvement: roads, water, schools, health, jobs, women's safety, grievance resolution, public fund use, promise delivery. Every BBP representative will publish a structured public accountability cycle: First 100-Day Action Report, 6-Month Naagrik Review, Annual Vikas Report Card (9 metrics), and 5-Year Final Vikas Hisaab. Funding disclosures and smaller progress updates may happen every 90 days.
What is a Vikas Contract?

A manifesto is general. A Vikas Contract is specific. Every Bharat Banao candidate publicly signs 6 commitments before the election: a First 100-day plan, 1-year priorities, 5-year goals, public office hours, funding disclosure, and an annual Report Card. Then citizens hold them to it.
What is a Naagrik Sabha? Where do I go?

A Naagrik Sabha is your mohalla's regular meeting. Every active local unit holds at least one each month. During elections or high-priority campaigns, the cadence becomes every 15 days. Any citizen can attend. You can raise your issue in 2 minutes. Candidates or elected representatives answer right there. See your area's calendar on the live dashboard.
What's a 'Naagrik Circle'? How is it different from a 'referral count'?

A Naagrik Circle is your area's first local group of 10 real people. It isn't just a referral count; it's your mohalla's first meeting, first agenda, first local team. To become an Active Volunteer you build your Circle. Every member is consent-verified, no shortcuts.
How do I verify that what you claim is actually true?

Every claim has a public verification protocol on /pramanikta: who verifies it, how, how to audit, what counts as a failed check. Member identity, volunteer onboarding, issues, candidate dossiers, funding, sabha minutes, code, founder claims. All documented. If something isn't documented there, that claim is not in the public record.
Where is the party constitution?

The three promises that bind us are public now on /pramanikta: the founder's vote counts as one, the founder gets ₹0 if the party ever dissolves (and that clause can't be amended), and the rules change only by member vote. The full draft constitution, the longer document we'll register with the Election Commission, is being written with our first members, so the people it binds help shape it. Once it locks, changing it needs a two-thirds member vote, and no office bearer can change it alone.
Where does the funding come from?

Anyone can give: a person or a company, no cap. But every donor is on the public ledger (name/company, amount, city, date). No cash / foreign / anonymous, ever. Full public disclosure every 90 days.
How is this different from existing parties?

Three differences: (1) candidates are chosen by citizens' votes, not handed out by the party. (2) every promise is tracked on a public dashboard. (3) volunteers must complete 10 verified onboardings. No shortcuts, no referral farming.
Will you do identity-based politics?

No. Our data has no identity fields like caste, religion or language: you give your name, phone and state (optionally district or city). It's locked in at the code level. Changing it would require a two-thirds vote of the members. Our work is on progress and development, not on anyone's identity.
Will you use AI? Deepfakes? Manipulation?

AI is used for only 4 things: (1) classifying citizen issues, (2) clustering similar issues, (3) generating neutral candidate dossiers, (4) translation. Never to generate citizen voices, never deepfakes of opponents, never AI-written candidate speeches. Every AI output is logged and reviewable.
What happens to my data?

Only what you provide is stored: phone/email/state. Nothing tied to personal identity. Your vote is secret, no admin can see it. When raising an issue you can choose public, unit-only, or anonymous. Consent is always recorded. You can request data deletion any time.
Do I need to pay to become a volunteer?

Absolutely not. There is no charge for membership or volunteering. If anyone asks for a fee, they are not a BBP volunteer. Please report them.
What does 'internal voting' mean? Is this a public election?

This is absolutely not an ECI (Election Commission of India) election. These are internal party decisions: who becomes a candidate, who becomes a unit coordinator, which issues become priorities. For public elections you still vote on the ECI's EVM.
