The broken road, the dry tap, the missing schoolteacher, the dark lane, the safety of your daughters: all of it is put on the table, and the candidate or elected representative answers to your face. Who comes
Any citizen can attend, member or not. Volunteers come with the agenda. The local coordinator chairs. Any candidate or elected representative must attend, to answer questions.
When it happens
Default cadence: every active local unit holds at least one Naagrik Sabha each month. During elections or high-priority campaigns, the cadence shifts to every 15 days. Calendar is published in advance on the live dashboard; minutes go public within 48 hours.
Sabha rules
- ✓Speech with consent and respect: no anger, no abuse.
- ✓A 2-minute time limit per speaker so everyone gets a chance.
- ✓No identity-based talk, only issues.
- ✓Take minutes, take photos, publish within 48 hours.
- ✓Citizens may question any candidate or elected representative present. They're there to answer.
